BASEBALL WRITING: Baseball Themed Writing and Research Activities

Tap into the excitement of baseball season to encourage your students to research, think, read, and write. Your students will read, think, and draw conclusions as they work their way through a fun and informative Major League Baseball webquest. The webquest will then set the stage for follow up writing prompts. Each writing prompt begins with student reading or research from provided website links. Students will then use the provided planning sheets to plan, draft, revise, proofread and publish essays, friendly letters, business letters, game reviews and more.
