What educators are saying

My students loved this digital activity. It was one of the first assignments I paired up with demos and finding average rate of change did very well with the activity.

Description

Students will practice calculating average rate of change for linear, exponential and quadratic functions with this self-checking activity in Google Sheets. The video demonstrates how to find the average rate of change with Desmos. For each problem students are given a function an interval in inequality notation.

▶️ A quick Desmos tutorial video is included. Enhance your skills and empower students to master Desmos' powerful features. Desmos is a free online graphing calculator.

Students will receive instant feedback and unlock shoe customization options with correct answers. Give students choice and it will boost engagement. With 750 possible shoe designs, there's something for everyone!
