Autumn Virtual Library & Music Room UPDATE! - SEESAW & Google Slides

Time for an UPDATE!

*This is a new & improved version of my original Letter 'Autumn' Virtual Library and Music Room! **The original Video Links version is still available & included.

This fun room celebrates Autumn via literature, non-fiction, and music. The Virtual Library includes 22 original + 5 NEW 'Autumn'-themed storybooks & non-fiction titles read aloud via YouTube. The collection is an eclectic mix of genres, classics, and favorite characters.

In the Music Room, you'll find 12 original + 3 NEW 'Autumn'-themed song videos that reinforce seasonal themes, build vocabulary, and engage students with movement/rhythm activities.

You and your students will enjoy a total of 42 thematic resources organized in one cute place that can be accessed from most anywhere!

During Distance Learning, I used these resources for quick access during Zoom instruction. My students enjoyed them independently via Seesaw, as well.

Most of us have now returned to in-person instruction. Yay! As much as I prefer 'real' books in my hands and those of students, various precautions are still in play. I often utilize the virtual library and music room format during whole group activities. They provide a budget-friendly collection of thematic resources all organized in one place. Students look forward to their turn to choose for the class and enjoy individual access via tablets in our alternative classroom library.

The home-school connection is so important, so students will continue to have access at home. They provide thematic enrichment, supplemental activities, and opportunities for shared reading with family & friends.
