• box things such as: antonyms, synonyms, details, etc.

Included in this product are two differentiated versions. This is to be completed with a partner. One person is a reader and the other is a listener. The reader reads the passage and completes the tasks listed. The listener checks as they read that they are correctly completing the skill. Then, the two jobs switch and they read a new passage. The reader becomes the listener and the listener becomes the reader.

Level One

Students will read a short passage, illustrate and retell the events, and mark the text (highlight sight words and circle words they struggled with).

Level Two

Students will read a short passage, illustrate it while retelling the events to a partner, answer comprehension questions, and mark the text (underline the main idea, apply a reading skill, highlight sight words, and circle words they struggled with).
