Assessment: Year 10 History Multi-Modal Presentation

Students are provided with over 40 topics to choose from about 20th Century History following the end of World War II. The Year 10 History curriculum contains many topics, however there is not always time to address all of them. This task aims to allow more topics and content to be covered while also providing students with the opportunity to explore topics they are interested in or want to know more about independently.

The topics are divided into sub-headings:

• Australia
• People
• World Events
• World Movements

This task encourages students to teach each other. As it is a multi-modal presentation, students are encouraged to bring in artefacts to increase student learning and engagement (e.g. dressing up in 1950s fashion, baking something using a 1960s recipe).
