Assessment: WWI Artefact Portfolio

In this task, students select from one of the topics listed to prepare a portfolio of artefacts about. Topics include:

• Trench Warfare
• Aerial Combat
• Weapon Development
• Medical Developments
• Women in WWI
• Australians in WWI
• Impact of WWI
• Influenze Pandemic 1918

The task outline contains a scaffold to help students develop inquiry questions and to plan their research. There is also an example of what a caption should look like (with in-text references) to help students complete this task.

The task asks students to complete an ePortfolio however it is possible to complete this as a hardcopy portfolio as well.

This task also includes a rubric.
