The purpose of 3 Part Cards is to enrich and enlarge a child's vocabulary, and to aid in the classification of the environment. This is typically done with no more than 12-15 cards per set. The cards are meant to give a small introduction to the child by opening their minds so they are internally driven to find out more.
This full set contains 15 sets of control cards, image cards and labels along with a display card in .pdf format. They can be printed on card stock, trimmed and then laminated for years of use.
I use these sets to introduce my elementary students to an artist of the month through an art shelf display in their classrooms. The larger 8.5" x 11" card is displayed on a small easel and the individual three part cards are used as extension work outside of their art instructional time. The students then use these cards as inspiration for their own art pieces.
