Art as Action in the Americas: Unit Bundle (Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil)

These Google Slides and guided notes will have you ready to go for an "art as action in the Americas" mini unit. Low prep, digital or in-person friendly, and easy to implement in a hurry.

Currently, this bundle contains:

*Argentina and Revolutionary Photography (3-7 class days, depending on pace/time allotted)

*Mexican Muralism (3-7 class days, depending on pace/time allotted)

*Mexican/Chican@ Creative Writing (3-25 class days, depending on pace/time allotted/how many of the Mexico extension activities you choose to add).

*Brazil and Theatre of the Oppressed/Boalian Theatre (3-10 class days, depending on pace/time allotted for the Living Newspaper project)

*3 comprehension check worksheets to accompany viewings of the Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina episodes of "Street Food: Latin America." Each Netflix episode is 30-40 minutes long, so this could add 3 class days on to the total unit.
