This was an easy to complete visually appropriate think sheet for young children that is specific to art. It worked great and required no prep from me.
I have tried other reflection sheets that didn't really work. I was a bit skeptical this would be the same, but I found it was really helpful in facilitating conversations with students as well as helping them understand why behaviors weren't acceptable in the art room.
Description
My students are given a "Think Sheet" after a couple of warnings.
They are asked to stop working, and sit to the side of the room to reflect on their behavior, and fill out the think sheet.
After a few minutes and completing the sheet, they may join the class again.
The sheet includes images which helps younger students understand what they have done incorrectly, and is easier for bilingual parents to understand when the sheet goes home.
