This resource comprises:

- 16 key word cards related to the story to prompt narrative recall and encourage further discussion.

- High Frequency Words chart for your younger students to practice their reading.

- A choice of 5 Black Line Master book review templates to suit different age levels and abilities; two BLMs include a ‘word prompts’ list.

- A Matisse quote poster to decorate your classroom or education space.

- Art title poster to accompany a display of student art inspired by Matisse.

This resource was written in mind for those teachers who work in small country town’s or unique learning environments where Pre Primary kids right through to Year 3 students all learn together in the same class. You want ALL your students to engage with the story, but you need a variety of tasks that relate to different learning levels. We hope this resource makes your life a little easier with the options it provides you.
