What educators are saying

I love this resource! I have short classes on Mondays, so we do an 'artist of the week' activity using this as our guide every Monday! I love the variety of artists (historical to contemporary) and my students are exposed to a new artist every week!

Description

This resources consists of two versions of 20 worksheets (both of which contain the same artworks).

The two sets are designed to help better reach various classroom needs- the first set requires students to be able to do some online research, while the questions for the second set can be completed just by viewing the given artwork.

~The first set gives the title of the artwork, and has seven questions for students to answer which include researching the artist name, year of the artwork and movement. Questions are consistent for each worksheet.

~The second set gives the artwork title, artist, title year, and movement and has five questions for students to answer about the artwork. These questions require no research. Questions are consistent for each worksheet.

I used the first set with my students and gave them about one a week to complete. I created the second version so I could have some printed out and ready to go for sub plans or for days when technology was not working well!

These worksheets are created in a Google Slide, so you can easily change anything in them to fit your teaching needs. These can be edited online using various platforms, worked on as a Google Slide, printed out directly from the Google Slide, or can be downloaded as PDF's or JPGs.

I hope you enjoy using these with your students to help integrate different artworks  into your curriculum!
