Art: Analyzing Guernica by Picasso in 5 Minutes Video Worksheet

This video worksheet allows students to learn about and analyze Pablo Picasso’s Spanish Civil War Painting “Guernica”. The video helps students better understand the importance and impact of Pablo Picasso and the uniqueness of one of his most famous paintings, "Guernica". The video is great for visual learners and helps break up class time so students are more focused throughout the entire period.

This activity is very easy to use. All you have to do is hand out the worksheet to the students and play the video from the following website below. You can also download the video right to your computer from the website.

Students watch the video and answer the questions on the worksheet. The worksheet includes 7 questions and has an answer sheet for the teacher. A QR code is also included for students. I recommend pausing the video at times to allow students to reflect and answer questions. The worksheet can be used to generate classroom discussion or be used as homework.
