Area and Perimeter - The Unfair Game

Do you ever get tired of doing the same old review games over and over again? If so, then this is the game for you! Not only does The “Unfair” Game switch things up during review, but it also engages students like none other! This is a game my kiddos beg to play when it comes time to review. I think a big factor is because they never know what the outcome is going to be! This game not only tests your knowledge of key concepts, but also tests your strategic skills and ability to work together as a team. Ultimately, the game is unfair, but the kids push through and work until the very end, eager to see the results. I am not the creator of The “Unfair” Game. I wish I knew who came up with it so I could give them a HUGE shout out because it seriously is amazing. The rules can easily be tweaked to suit your classroom needs.
