My students had a lot of fun with this activity. I had to have groups of 3 to make it work. The 4th problem was solved by all members of the group. The designs of their Super Hero were great. I had all 6th graders vote for the best Super Hero.
Description
Speed, accuracy, and a ton of fun all rolled into this seasonal activity. Groups of 4 work together to answer review problems. As they work their way through the activity a SUPER hero is being formed.
This review includes:
~2 rounds finding Perimeter of rectangles, squares and triangles
~2 rounds finding Area of rectangles, squares and triangles
~2 rounds finding Circumference of a circle given radius and diameter
~2 rounds finding Surface Area of a rectangular prism
~2 rounds finding Volume of a rectangular prism
Great activity that has been classroom tested and has had positive results. The kiddos LOVE this one!
