Arctic Themed Musical Performance Script for Elementary Students

Description
This arctic themed play combines music, poetry, fantasy and nonfiction. Four groups of arctic animals perform in the “Northern Lights” variety show hosted by four winter fantasy characters. Join Mother Winter, Father Frost, Suzy Snowflake and the Abominable Snow Monster as they introduce each animal group and sprinkle in some factual arctic information as well.
This Arctic themed performance package can be used by an elementary classroom teacher, a music teacher, a summer camp coordinator, a vacation bible school, or a drama program instructor.
This show was originally performed by 80 students in my drama program (K-5th). I divided them into 4 cast groups of 20 students. However this show could easily be performed by less or more students depending on your class/classes and your stage.
Some grouping options are:
-One class (25 students) split into 4 cast groups
-Four classes each taking a cast group
-Eight classes with two classes in each cast group

Eskimo Group
Reindeer Group
Snowy Owl Group
Polar Bear Group
