    Description

Learn Arabic quicker with this Arabic/English phonetic equivalency chart

SAVE MONEY AND BUY THE BUNDLE!!!

This Arabic/English phonetic equivalency chart is, as far as I am aware, the only one in existence. It is an indispensable tool for English speakers to begin learning Arabic phonetically.

Having lived in the UAE for many years and wanting to learn Arabic, I was frustrated with the lack of learning resources. So, I decided to create my own.

The chart is suitable for both children and adults and I recommend using it in conjunction with any other Arabic language learning tools you are currently working with.

I have included an explanation guide of how to use the chart to maximise its effectiveness with some notes on Arabic/English translation conventions for clarification. Also, you will notice that some individual letters have been coloured (highlighted) and there are explanation notes for these too.

Some letter sounds/words cannot be translated literally from Arabic to English and vice versa. If you observe western shops or companies’ titles in an Arabic speaking country, for example, LuLu (لولو), Waitrose (ويتروز) or Marks and Spencer (ماركس و سبينسر), you will get an approximation (phonetically) in written form. This is the basis for A/E Phonetic Equivalency chart.
