Description
This is a Groundwater independent work packet. The reading goes over infiltration percolation, aquifers, groundwater, the zone of aeration, the zone of saturation, permeability, and porosity. It also goes over the cone of depression and contamination of groundwater resources. After the reading, students answer reading questions, vocabulary questions, complete a labeling and coloring sheet, and an extension activity. This assignment is for middle school or high school (7th-10th) Earth science classes.
