Description

Are you looking for a way to support parts of speech, science, and meaningful writing? This is it!! Each page includes one original photo from the Texas Aquarium. The science content includes animals found at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. Every page has a sentence and asks students to identify two or more parts of speech. There are over 40 total parts of speech in these 15 Smart Board pages. EVERY page asks students to find nouns and verbs and the answers are on each page by taping an interactive Smart Board tool (Such as clicking a star to reveal nouns on the page.) Additionally students are asked to find adjectives on six pages, prepositions on five pages, and adverbs on three pages. I have included a way to have all students be engaged in the activity that you can choose to use. Students are asked to number a paper but you could easily use wipe off boards for this. I have color coded all pages to have the same content..sentence directions in blue, the sentence to study in red, and writing extensions in purple. This is perfect for students in grades 2-5, and could be fifteen days of journal writing.
