Apraxia Feed and Say BOOM CARDS™: VC, CV, CVC, CVCV, & 3 & 4 SYLLABLE WORD

2/25/2021: Hi! This resource was updated today to include bigger picture targets, easier to access animal sounds, and simpler backgrounds.

This is a wonderful 19 card deck for working on the verbal expression of small VC and CV level words to longer, more difficult to say, 3 and 4 syllable words. The progression of easier to more difficult to say words is often used during apraxia of speech therapy and verbal expression therapy tasks for early talkers.

These fun "feed" the animal treatment cards target words at the VC, CV, CVC, CVCV, 3 and 4 syllable word levels. We have provided three different cards for each word level that are all fun and interactive! One of the activities is to say the targeted word and to feed either a monkey, dog, fish, cat, rabbit or bird. Another activity is to find hidden pictures and to drag them to their matching picture. The third card is a cute tic-tac-toe game for each student to play with a partner as they practice their words.

In addition, a link to a helpful contents page will make the navigation through the unit easy!

Have a fun and productive speech session using this new card deck with your students needing help with small to longer words. Just put on a computer, tablet or phone and go for it!
