Description
The purpose of this staff professional development session is:
1) Define the different forms of racism
2) Identify how racism “shows up” in our schools
3) Examine your school’s for racism
It is an introductory course about the types of racism. It builds to an examination of each participant's classroom. It's ideal for first and second-year teachers but can be effective for schools with little to no experience discussing race.
This professional development can - and will - make schools safer for Black and Brown children.
