Description
In this activity, students will learn and write about the Hispanic New Year's Eve tradition of running with a suitcase. Now includes the option to make a decorated suitcase exterior!

Each page has a short description of the holiday. For the illustrated version, students draw the items they would include in their suitcase to represent what they want and hope for in the new year. Then they identify and describe why they chose that item. In the lined versions, students write what they would put in their suitcases and why.
