    Description

    This product contains 15 non-fiction easy readers on a variety of animals. It also includes an introduction to research packet full of suggestions, templates and organizers that students can use with the e-books to develop their research skills.

    The e-books provide easy to read information on the food, water source and habitat of an animal. All pages are illustrated with large, realistic photos of the animal in its natural environment. The books are ideally suited for beginning readers with simple text and pictures clues. Each book also contains a "did you know" page of interesting facts for more able readers.

    The research packet includes notes, organizers and templates for basic research, guided inquiry and open inquiry projects. There are pages for an animal theme project as well as open-ended pages which could be used for a variety of topics, making these pages useful for repeated use.
