This resource is differentiated at 3 different levels (little to no support with 5 paragraphs, sentence stem support with 5 paragraphs, sentence stems with 3 paragraphs) to ensure all writers in your room are supported and able to complete the project independently.

-Categorized research pages (animal kingdom background, physical characteristics, habitat, diet, and unique facts) with guiding questions and spaces for illustrations/diagrams.
-List of kid-friendly appropriate research websites
Paragraph Outline Packet (3 options):
-THREE differentiated options--one 5 paragraph outline without sentence starters, one 5 paragraph outline packet with sentence starters, and one 3 paragraph outline with sentence starters.
-Each page outlines one paragraph (five total)
-Introductory paragraph outline page page with checklist to include: a hook, introduce topic, and explain what the reader will be reading about.
-Three body paragraph outline pages (1. animal characteristics, 2. habitat, and 3. diet) **in the 3 paragraph outline option all three categories are included in the one body paragraph**
-Conclusion paragraph outline page with a checklist to include: restate topic, restate ideas introduced, sum it all up (sentence stems provided).
-5 paragraph line up page with sentence requirements EX: a body paragraph should have 6-8 sentences).
