Description
This Animal and Community themed performance for elementary students is easy to perform and coordinate. The script can be read like a readers theater by 5 narrators. The lion leader has a few speaking parts that can be easily memorized. Each animal group/class has two short poems they will memorize and recite chorally and one dance to choreograph and perform.
For years I used “Making The King Smile” for our grade level performances at a school with a male principal. (I like to name the lion king after the principal at the elementary level.) Then I moved to a school with a female principal! So I edited my script for a female lead… “Making The Queen Smile”.
These two scripts are identical with only pronoun changes. Purchase this bundle and you will be able to easily continue performing even when your administration changes!!
