Animal Matching Boards | ASL

These ASL animal task cards are the perfect addition to any center. These can be used as task cards, matching cards, or file folders during zoo and/or animal units. These boards can help your students work on generalization, vocabulary, ASL signs, etc in early intervention, special education, or preschool/kindergarten classrooms.

For each animal (there are 41 included), there are 3 images. The first is a clip art image, the second is a photograph, and the third is the ASL sign. Depending on the levels of your students, you can use these cards in a variety of ways. All the cards can be taken off, and students are responsible for reading the animal word and identifying all of the corresponding images. One or two images can be left on, and students are responsible for identifying the last image (or two) that correspond with the others. Lastly, you can choose to focus on just two of the three images, and students can match them.
