What educators are saying
Description
Do group behaviors in animals increase the survival rates of individual organisms? Students will work in teams to research and create an informative poster for one of the following animal behaviors: flocking, schooling, herding, cooperative hunting, migrating, or swarming. Students share posters in a gallery walk and complete a jigsaw chart summarizing their findings. Finally, students complete a scaffolded CER (Claim-Evidence-Reasoning) to practice engaging in argument from evidence.
