Description

This hard working reading passage can be a small group read, quick assessment, practice in word study, character problem and resolution study, and Science support in animal dependency and food webs.

I use it also for homework packets.

  • Highlight spelling patterns with aw, au, al, or a.
  • Comprehension questions on character traits, response to problems/conflict
  • Discuss how each plant and animal depend on each other for survival.
