Animal Classification Flipchart { Promethean Board }

This is a PROMETHEAN BOARD flip chart for sorting Animals by their correct classification.

This activity contains six categories:

-Mammals

-Fish

-Reptiles

-Amphibians

-Birds

-Invertebrates

There are 18 REAL PHOTOGRAPHS of different animals etc. to be sorted (3 for each classification).

This activity is self correcting, the classification boxes are containers and each photo has been coded with the correct box it belongs to.

(if the photo is correct it stays in the box… incorrect and it is bounced out!)

I have used this to introduce and wrap up a lesson, a cloze activity, assessment tool and an independent activity.
