Each week-long study includes: the parts of an animal, animal life cycles, what makes those animals unique, animal habitats, a non-fiction interactive emergent reader, posters with different animals around the world, and animal research projects/writing activities.
Students will learn about each type of animal and their distinct characteristics and traits in order to differentiate between reptiles & amphibians, birds & mammals, insects & spiders and fish & mammals. Your students will use compare and contrast skills to distinguish one animal group from another.
This science bundle is recommended for use in Pre-K through Second Grade classrooms.
