OUR BODY COVERINGS packet is the perfect addition to your ANIMAL UNIT!
This file includes a variety of activities to help your students learn about animal body coverings.
The full size (8 1/2 x 11) book includes a cover page (color and bw options) and one sheet for each type of animal body covering (fur, shells, scales, feathers). Students need to cut out the pictures of animals from the last two pages and glue them onto the appropriate page.
The file also includes three horizontal sorting worksheets. The students need to cut, color, and sort to show their understanding of the topic.
There are also four printable, colorful posters to laminate and hang up in your classroom. These can also be cut and turned into a sorting activity or used in a pocket chart.
