What educators are saying

This project was so great! I loved that it was the perfect review of learned and innate behaviors in animals. The students chose the behavior they researched and the template made it easy to plug in the information. Students enjoyed the video component.
This was a great activity for students to think about the different animal behaviors and build their research skills.

Description

Provided is the link for the Google Slides document to share with your students. Students will be able to force a copy of the Slides into their Google Drive, so everyone can edit their own document.

This ONLINE GOOGLE SLIDES document is on Animal Behavior Research. Students are given 20 different animals; such as Drone flies, widow birds, and dolphins taking care of the injured, and will conduct research on the animal’s behavior.

Out of twenty different animal behaviors, students will choose 5 behaviors to research. In order to organize their research, graphic organizers are provided in the Google Slides presentation. Students will select an animal behavior, tell which behavior it is (Innate, Learned, Altruism, Courtship, Defense, Mimicry, Imprinting), provide three facts about the specific animal behavior, and find a YouTube video/Google Image that shows this behavior.

You can have students conduct more research if you so choose. Students can copy and paste the graphic organizer slides to align with your instructions.

Thank you so much for your purchase!
