Angry Birds Quadratic Functions

This project allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of how to graph and write an equation for a quadratic function. Students create five Angry Birds levels on a coordinate plane, each with at least three birds. They must then write a quadratic function to match the path of their red birds, writing it first in vertex form and then in standard form. If students choose to include yellow birds, as well, it gives them a review of writing linear functions. If you prefer to make it a collaborative project, I give my students the option to work with a partner, but they must create ten levels instead of five.
