Ancient Egypt, Vikings, Celts and Romans and Dinosaurs songs

I have bundled together all four of my song packs covering aspects of life in past times - Ancient Egypt, Celts and Romans, Vikings and Dinosaurs songs! 37 songs altogether.

Each of the four song packs contains:

* mp3 files of all the songs, with both vocal and piano backing tracks
* a PDF of the music and lyrics
* an illustrated PowerPoint of each song for use with digital projectors and whiteboards. The audio tracks, vocal and instrumental, are embedded in the PowerPoint - you just have to click on the relevant icon to select vocal or piano only.
* a separate Word document containing the lyrics.

* There are some teaching notes and guidelines included in the PDF document for each pack which provide some useful advice.

No licence is required for performing any of my material, and the music and lyrics may be copied freely for use within or by your school.

Ancient Egypt.

From the gory details of mummification to the technicalities of controlling the flooding of ‘The Nile’, there is a wealth of fascinating information contained in these songs. ‘Gods and Goddesses’ and ‘Hieroglyphics’ are featured and Tutankhamun gets more than a passing mention in two songs, one more light-hearted than the other!

Celts and Romans

The Celts were a real nuisance to the Romans! This collection of my songs tries to tell the story from both sides. Each song contains accurate historical information and also provides up to date references. There are opportunities for percussion accompaniments and teacher’s notes give guidance for class teachers to undertake these activities.

This collection of songs contains a wealth of information about the Viking world along with appropriate and useful illustrations. Check the previews for details. ”Sailors, Adventurers and Warriors” gives a brief history of where the Vikings came from. “Jorvik Market” brings to life the various people you would have been likely to meet whilst doing your shopping in Viking Times. “Viking House” , “The Longship”, “Viking Clothes” and “Viking Women’s Household Chores” all contain accurate information regarding Viking society. “Thor The Thunderer” provides a brief insight into Viking religion.
