Analyzing Poetry - Station Activity

This station activity helps students analyze several different poetic elements. This can be used as a group activity, a stand alone station activity or in combination with other station activities. It can also be done individually for extra practice.

The activity asks the students to find several different poetic elements in a poem (such as alliteration, end rhyme, rhyme scheme, etc.) After they have completed this task, students are expected to answer 4 open ended questions that help the students have a better understanding of the poem.
