Analizando el arte (Analyzing Art) - Presentation and Project Materials

This pack of materials includes a prezi and guided notes with principles for describing art including: type of art, media, position of elements, lines, shapes, colors, style, subject, descriptive adjectives, and personal opinion. Example paintings to describe together as a class are also included.

Also included are the materials for our art analysis project. Students were asked to select a work of art and complete an analysis using a graphic organizer. They then presented their analyses in small groups, and to keep listeners accountable, they completed an additional graphic organizer as they listened.
