Description

Overview: Students will research an American Indian/Native American region/tribe and will create a packet including written and illustrated information.

The research packet includes:

- map/geographical features

- typical dwelling

- food

- inventions

- apparel

- customs/traditions

- vocabulary words

A list of resources is included for research.

A rubric for self evaluation, peer evaluation, and teacher evaluation is provided to score their final product.

Grades: 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade
