Description

An intermediate Latin reader meant to accompany Dr. LaFleur's Love & Transformation reader. This reader provides additional text & commentary for intermediate Latin students wanting to read more of Ovid's poetry. It contains selections from the Books One & Two of the Amores, Book One of the Ars Amatoria, and Ovid's poetic autobiography from Book Four of Tristia to further show how love does not just transform others' lives, but it transformed the poet's own life. It also contains thorough appendices at the back listing and explaining every use of every Latin noun case and every type of subjunctive clause.
