Description

This alphabet fluency packet is a perfect way to teach the letter name and sounds, alliteration, vocabulary, print awareness (spacing between words), punctuation (a period goes at the end of a sentence, capitalization (The first letter of a sentence is capitalized), vocabulary, and letter recognition. There are so many ways to use these alphabet sentences. You can use these in small group, whole group (with a projector), cut the sentences up for a center, guided practice, send in your kindergarten homework folder, and even for guided reading. These alphabet sentences will build confidence in your students as they "read" the sentences. They will surely love that I included a picture at the end of each sentence. I also like to use these for letter recognition. In small group I like to read the sentences with the children, place the sheets in dry erase pouches, and have the students search of the letter with a dry erase marker. The ways to use these are endless!
