Description
Learning the alphabet and improving fine motor skills are two very important skills for our students. Do you need a fun activity to help your students identify the letters of the alphabet? This uppercase and lowercase alphabet hole puncher task card pack helps students practice identifying the uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet, while also reinforcing those necessary fine motor skills! This activity teaches letter recognition, as well as fine motor skills. It also builds hand-eye coordination. The BEST part?? Students LOVE using the hole puncher, so it makes learning fun! There are so many ways to use these alphabet task cards! You can also choose to laminate and have students use a dry-erase maker to find the letters. Then it can become a permanent re-usable center. Students can also use a bingo dauber, stickers, or even a marker to find and mark the correct letter matches.
To use these punch cards with your students:
-Copy the pages for the letters you are working on or letters your students can recognize from previous letter lessons.
-Have students hole punch the letters that match the letter in the center of the card (both uppercase and lowercase).
**There are 2 size options included in the pack.
The larger size also includes a picture that begins with the letter that the students are looking for.

*For durability or to make it a little tougher, you can copy on construction paper or cardstock.
This activity is low prep. Just print, cut and go! It makes a great literacy center for your young learners or learners with special needs. The cards also fit inside task boxes to make for great independent work practice and reinforce the alphabet letters that your students are learning.
