Description
Need a quick and easy sub plan? Looking for a way to help your students imagine life in France? Want to give them practice working with informational texts in a way that's engaging and interesting? This "Allons à Paris" webquest is for you!
In this activity, students will explore the unique character of the 20 arrondissements of Paris and select one where they'd like to "live." They will then choose an apartment, decide on which Parisian monuments they'd like to visit, and figure out a route from their apartment to the sights using the Paris Métro. They'll wrap it up by writing an postcard about their imaginary trip to Paris.
For each stage of the activity, hyperlinked websites are included to help students focus and facilitate their search for information and keep them operating in the target language as much as possible. The next best thing to a trip to Paris!
