What educators are saying

This resource was engaging for my students and easy for me to grab and go! Now that it's prepped, it'll be great for me to use for years to come. I'd love more themed packs from you!
This resource went along great with the All About Me theme this month. The visuals were engaging for my students.

Description

Make planning your "All About Me" theme a breeze with a variety of easy-to-implement activities, lesson plans, toy/game lists, and parent handouts for your preschool speech therapy caseload.

Read below to see what's included and how these materials will help you plan all about me-themed therapy in no time!

  • Lesson Plans for an All About Me Theme: Save yourself hours sifting through blogs, TPT, social media, etc... to get enough therapy ideas for your weekly theme. 3 pages of activities are listed in this download for all kinds of preschool goals, making planning a breeze! Print it out and have your plans set for the week!

  • Toy/Game Suggestions for Play-Based Therapy: 4 pages with themed toy/game suggestions, including links and potential speech/language goals to target with each toy/game

  • EASY Parent Communication: Hate the feeling when parents say they don't know what their child is working on in therapy? Keep parents in the loop with these handouts that give play activities for home and an overview of how skills are being targeted in therapy with this theme.

  • Story character + prop printables for the story, "I Like Myself." Use the story props to act out the book as you read, to recreate the story. Great for circle time and targeting body parts!

  • Body part mats: Vocabulary & Functions Practice body part vocabulary and functions with smash mats or a coloring page. 2 different skin tones are included for the smash mats.

  • Pronoun + Verb Smash Mats: Target pronouns and verbs with different mats that have visual sentence strips for "he" "she" or singular "they."

  • Dot Marker WH Question & 5 Senses/Concepts: No prep, black and white WH questions re: body parts. Dot the answer! Use the 5 senses pages to dot things that sound loud/quiet, feel hard/soft, smell good/smell bad, and things you taste/do not taste.

  • Basic Concept Dough Mats: 5 mats. Target concepts "big" "small" "wide" "short" "many" and "few." Students will make big and small eyes, big and small teeth, big and small footprints, wide and small mouths, and many and few teeth, Great for pushing in to the classroom during fine motor times and math groups!

  • Category Sorting: Body Parts Vs Clothing Items Sort clothing vs body parts. Expand on this activity by also targeting functions of body parts, “where” questions with clothing, and hot vs cold weather clothing. Black/white cut & paste version is included, too.

  • Category Sorting: Body Part Actions Sort actions by whether we use our hands or our feet to do them.

  • Compare/Contrast No Prep Smash Mats: 2 pages. Talk about similarities and differences with different depictions of the same body parts (e.g. mouths, eyes). 4 sets of 2 depictions are included on each page.
