Description

This unit contains nine lessons, supplemented with five different games and activities to teach students how invasive species affect an established ecosystem and disturb the natural flow of native plants and animals. Students will also learn how they can be stewards of the Earth by learning how to effectively keep invasive species from hitchhiking into areas where they are not welcome.

The California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating youth throughout California about the importance of agriculture in their daily lives. For additional free resources, visit LearnAboutAg.org.
