Description

This is a COMPLETE NO PREP CURRICULUM of 10 UNITS and over 1,000 documents on Algebra 2 content with differentiated Do Nows + Student Writing Prompts and a rubric per lesson, which I use as a class opener. Each unit is composed of 8-12 lessons. Each lesson also comes with a Launch/Exploration, Mini Lesson, Guided Practice with examples,  Formative Assessments to assess student learning mid-lesson. In addition, each lesson comes with differentiated independent practice (3 tiers/levels of fluency and practice problems), a differentiated exit ticket, and homework per day. Each unit is also composed of a Pre-Test, that is to be given before you start the unit, a quiz to be given mid-unit, and a Post-Test that is to be given at the end of the unit. All of the documents also have ANSWER KEYS with worked out solutions and explanations! Each unit also includes one Lesson Exploration which gives students an opportunity to dive into the content without actually learning it yet.

I’m known around my building for having well-crafted and differentiated lessons that are accessible to all learners in the classroom. I use my lessons as student packets, removing only the exit tickets to be copied separately and given at the end of the lesson. I also make screenshots of the lessons and project them onto the SmartBoard so that my lesson is exactly identical to my students lesson packets. We go through the lesson together aside from the Launch and Formative Assessment and Independent Practice. Students typically have anywhere between 5-7 practice problems to work on for Independent Practice. It is rare that a student will finish all of them before the period ends. If it does happen, I will instruct them to complete the other group problems for fluency. There is always plenty of work to do! You will get great feedback from your supervisor/administrator about the packets and the students will LOVE them because they don't have to copy notes down all period. Instead they can annotate and add onto the notes in the mini lesson.
