Description
During Semana Santa in Antigua, Guatemala, neighborhoods and/or families will come together to make intricately designed alfombras out of colored sawdust, flowers, or pine needles in the middle of their streets. This project has students mimicking the community effort in Guatemala as they color their own piece to make this printable alfombra as a class! This is a great to celebrate Semana Santa and teach culture at the same time! Great for bulletin boards!
