Alef Bet Same Different

This Alef Bet activity was created to complement the Alef Bet book מאלף עד תיו (M’alef Ad Tav- From Alef to Tav). Each group of letters is color coded to match the color groupings used in the book. However, this material can be used by itself or with any other Alef Bet curriculum. This Alef Bet activity is designed to help the child identify and match the letters of the Alef Bet to different versions and fonts they will be exposed to.

This material was created with love by Morah Gavi Goldberg, one of our preschool teachers at Lamplighters Yeshivah. Gavi’s passion for teaching began in her hometown, Seattle, WA, where she received accredited training as a Montessori teacher. Gavi joined Lamplighters in 2013 and above all, loves the positive atmosphere in our learning community. As a teacher, she strives to nurture her students’ innate love of learning and give them the tools to be the Lamplighters of today. Students and their families hold a very big piece of her heart -- in fact, she is the proud owner of at least 75 teacher appreciation mugs! After hours you may find her drawing, cooking, or organizing (there’s always something!) -- or thrift store shopping for adorable little trinkets to enhance her classroom.
