Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Escape Room
Have students work through six puzzles related to drugs and alcohol to crack the code to escape class! - Okay, maybe not really escape class...but to get through the escape room activity!
Assignment Goal:
This is an informative, fun, and virtual activity that aims to educate students about the effects of drugs and alcohol. Students are presented with the six puzzles on a Google Document. Each puzzle has a corresponding article from https://teens.drugabuse.gov/. Students are instructed to read/skim each article, match the term with the definitions, arrange the lock keys in order of correct answers to spell out the code. Once they get the code, they will fill out the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Escape Room Google Form. The Google Form is answer sensitive - meaning that it will only let students proceed/submit the form if they get the correct answer!
