This is a lovely idea. The children learn a phrase a week which they are tested at the end of the week as part of their spelling test. I am planning to use this resource with my class this year.
Description
A full year's spelling scheme for senior classes.
The approach is based around learning how to write an essay about themselves. Each week they get a sentence of the essay (at level B or C they have more than 1 sentence a week) and these will build into an essay covering their name, age, appearance, school, house, family, pets, hobbies etc. I have used this scheme very successfully with a variety of classes from 3rd to 6th.
