What educators are saying

I liked using to the teach measuring angles to the students. We did some whole group and independently.
This was a great activity for my students. I used it in groups of 4 or 5 and students had students cooperatively help each other to make sure each student was able to complete and solve the problem. I will also be leaving it for state test review for early finished when I have a substitute.

STANDARD 4.MD.7:

Recognize angle measure as additive. When an angle is decomposed into non-overlapping parts, the angle measure of the whole is the sum of the angle measures of the parts. Solve addition and subtraction problems to find unknown angles on a diagram in real world and mathematical problems, e.g., by using an equation with a symbol for the unknown angle measure.

Although this center meets the above Common Core standard, this is NOT a Common Core specific skill! There is NO reference to the Common Core or the standard number on student pages, so this center is a great addition to any classroom!
