Description

This is for students who still need the thought process of tens and ones when doing double digit addition or double digit plus one digit additon. Puzzle pieces that have a addition problem from pictures of tens blocks and ones blocks with the sum as the other half of the puzzle to match up. This is a self guided game that can be played alone or with partners. A data sheet can be made simply to go along the game if students want to write out the addition number sentences. I would let my students write them out on white board and practice different strategies once they have mastered adding all the tens up and ones up.
