Ways to use this puzzle
- Have students work on it individually and when they think they have finished allow them to partner up with someone. If they both have the same final answer then have them come check it with you. If they have different final answers they must work together to figure out who is correct.
- Use this as an extra credit assignment. Once students show you the correct final answer they get so many points of extra credit. This is a great after test activity.
- Use this as a group assignment. The group only gets one chance to show you the correct answer. If their answer is correct they get a reward.. This will encourage them to work together to repeatedly check their work before showing it to you (the teacher) to see if they have done it correctly.
